The design improvements that the Afriipower 2500VA inverter parades are intended for the benefit of the user. The elegant tower form factor is not common in this capacity range. The Afriipower 2.5kVA inverter stands relatively tall and imposing, but that's exactly how it's also designed to work - towering above peers in performance. This 2.5kVA Afriipower also has a full digital display, enabling the user easily monitor its operation. That LCD display highlights a wide range of status information: equipment startup information, LCD status display and fault / protection status reports.
The Afriipower 2.5kVA/36V inverter also provides audible beep for overload, short circuit, backfeed, low battery, over tempature, mains fuse blown / MCB trip, to help the user understand how his inverter is running and if any problem has arisen.
You require three units of 12V batteries to run the Afriipower 2500VA inverter. The 100Ah and higher battery capacities are recommended, depending on the load and expected backup. The user needs to have adequate battery capacity to avoid overstretching the battery bank and ruining the batteries. The 2kVA 24V Afriipower inverter will support the basic appliances of a household in a regualr flat apartment. That will include, say: 3 domestic fans, 1 TV set, 4 CFL light points and a few other low energy appliances, for a backup target of about 6 hours. This capacity is not suitable for air conditioners, freezers or even refrigerator and other heavy duty appliances which consume much power. Simply put, it meets the basic power needs of an average family and can provide a reasonable autonomy period.
The Afriipower 2.5kVA inverter is solar compatible, meaning you can integrate solar charging by installing solar panels. You will require to buy solar panels and solar charge controller (contact our Specialists for specifications and price details) and the integration will be done. You can also choose to buy the solar-ready Afriipower 2500VA Solar Inverter. This option has a built-in solar charge controller, meaning that you will only require to buy solar panels.
